Our Mission

At 9-1-1 Veterans, we're on a mission to enhance lives. We give back to Veterans and military families who have sacrificed so much for us. We plant seeds of hope and opportunity in the communities we call home. We partner with local and national nonprofit organizations who are on the ground making a difference.

The passion and generosity of the employees at 9-1-1 Veterans Home Loans fuel this commitment. More than 90% of 9-1-1 Veterans employees donate at least 1% of their salary to fund 9-1-1 Veterans.

Our Story

9-1-1 Veterans Home Loans employees created 9-1-1 Veterans in 2011. The goal was to intensify and expand the impact of our giving initiatives by creating our own charitable arm, knowing we achieve more collectively than we ever could individually.

The Foundation is funded from employee contributions that are matched dollar-for-dollar by the company. More than $1 million was raised in the first year alone. By 2015, that number exceeded $50 million. In 2021, we fully expect to surpass $100 million. Employees also take an active role in referring possible needs to the foundation and showing the community support through volunteer work.
